“Allah made salaat compulsory in order to eliminate one’s pride.” – Lady Fatima Zahra (s.a.) – Mizan al-Hikmah

Al-Hujjat Hijab Seminar This Sunday Dec. 19th

Salaam alaikum, our dear Al‑Hujjat community!

We pray that you are all doing well inshaAllah, and that your week has been full of blessings.

We would first like to express our condolences to our 12th Imam, Al-Hujjat (a.j.), and the entire Ummah on the occasion of the martyrdom of Sayyida Fatima az-Zahra (s.a.).

This Sunday will inshaAllah be the last day of Madrasah before the winter break and our school-wide Hijab Seminar for boys and girls in Bands B-F, starting at 10:30 a.m. We will also be sending out progress report cards by email on this day, so keep an eye on your inboxes! Please read on for more details.

This Sunday: Hijab Seminar & Last Week Before Winter Break

This Sunday morning, we will inshaAllah be having a school-wide seminar for all students, girls and boys, in Bands B-F, as well as all interested teachers and parents. The seminar will be held by our own Sr. Nahid Kowsar, and will involve interactive discussions in breakout groups, as well as a special presentation on Lady Fatima (s.a.) by the senior students of Al-Hujjat.

Please remember that this seminar is still a mandatory part of Madrasah and will be counted in your children’s evaluations. The seminar will begin at 10:30 a.m., and students will be dismissed early at 12 noon. (Quran/Salah classes will not be held this week.)

So make sure that your children in Bands B-F attend the seminar instead of their regular Tarbiyah class! (Students in Band A will attend their regular Tarbiyah class with Sr. Atiya.)
