Salaam Alaykum families,

We hope you are all keeping well. This year has been unusual in many ways, and even though many regions have progressed to Stage 3, the cases of COVID-19 continue to spread. Recognizing that there is a great deal of uncertainty about what regular schools will look like in the fall, we wanted to let you know about the operations of our Al-Hujjat Madrasa.
We will be operating Seerat and Qur’an classes starting Sunday, September 13, 2020. These classes will all be ONLINE. The plan for the first term of Madrasa (Sept – Dec) is to be fully online, and the platform that our teachers will be using is Google Classroom.
This summer, our teachers have been working extremely hard to prepare content and get ready to teach students online. We want to reassure our members that your children will have access to high quality Islamic learning. We are continuing with our Tarbiyah rollout, which will be implemented across all grades.

The Tarbiyah Curriculum was developed by the Madrasah Centre of Excellence (MCE).
The MCE is a body under the Islamic Education Board of the World Federation (WF), and the Tarbiyah Curriculum is the standard for all madaris within WF. You can learn more at the website: https://madrasahonline.org/

As we all know through our last few months of online education in secular schools, online education is not easy! We really need parent support and cooperation more than ever to make this work. We have always counted on your support and partnership over the years, and this coming fall, we will need to work together to ensure our students are on task and getting the most out of their Islamic education. More information on official registration forms and fees will be coming to you soon, but for now, we really need to collect the following information so we can prepare our classes:

1. Names and ages (birth dates) of the students from your household attending Al-Hujjat Study Centre in September 2020
2. Do you have a device for all your children to log on to classes on Sunday morning?
